Anyone Else Ready For Spring, because I sure am! As I sit here typing this, my front lawn is slowly being covered in snow...
Don't get me wrong, I love the white stuff - in fact I feel I am blessed to live in a place that has 4 distinct seasons, I consider myself having the best of all worlds :)
But as I get ready for work this morning, I long for the birds chirping, the cool grass in my feet, and the sun gracing us with its presence.
I will do my sun dance on the way to work today...
How's the weather in your world?

Here down in Southern Florida it is warm to hot with a sunny sky. I'm lovin' it!
gorgeous sunny day over here today though very windy! lol
Here in Chateauguay, QC there's still patches of snow, tulips are up two inches now, the birds are chirping up a storm, the geese are flying overhead (I love hearing their honking telling us that they've arrived), the kids are playing in the streets again (I hear ball hockey outside right now), more cars honking (watch out for the speeders), and of course the warm weather is finally here. I hope it stays! :0)
yeah, yeah, rub it in, LOL!!!!!
I'm with you Miss Suzie Q, I am ready for spring to be sprung!!!!
@ Kelly xoxoxoxo
Are you sure we aren't neighbors? The snow is melting {finally} in Minnesota, but I don't hold out hope for spring just yet. I'm sure there is one more flurry in my future....blech.
I feel the same way - although I was able to wear only a pullover sweater today, YEAH!!!!! Here's to SPRING in our near future!
BRing on the birds chirping and the green grass :)
WOW, I miss my tulips :( I am glad that my neighbouring province is feeling the touches of Spring - as it means it is not far off from us!!!!
Today it DID feel like Spring - WooHoo!!!! Hope your wind has died down and the sun has increased its burn :)
Well, I am glad that you are having sunshine Paula Devi. We actually had a beautiful day here, rainy but still only sweater weather and we were able to put the Parka's away, LOL!!!
ours is turning colder every day. In South Africa we actually only have 2 types of weather, summer and winter. Hot and Cold. We don't have a lot of Spring or Autumn. Not weatherwise anyway, although probably biologically- and ecologically -wise.
but enjoy your Spring and Summer. We have glorious ones here with wondrous unexpected highveld showers.
i'm still confused with the upside-down seasons in Australia. most people here,
like the first commenter said in South Africa, refer to the seasons only as summer and winter, and it's not really getting all that cold anyway - subtropical Queensland. "Summer" in January and February means humid (and horrible) heat, monsun-like rain (you might have heard about our floods this year...) and cyclons. yeah, no thanks. I used to love spring with the first warmth of the sun and everything in blossom after a crisp (or wet..) winter in Europe. 2 years ago, I was in Wales during that time and I took heaps of photos to be able to show my son what 'real' seasons look like :)
Thanks Nadya :) I have always wanted to visit your country.... perhaps one day...
Wow, you sound life quite the traveler :) I am ever so jealous. I bet those photos are beautiful!!! Hope you weren't hit by those floods!
Am a new follower of yours, but already hooked to your blog! Boy am I glad you're no longer married to the Moron, and that you've survived a better person because of it. I read your posts describing your marriage and pregnancy... can I just tell you, I'm only a reader but I HATE that MORON and what he did to you. It made me fume just from reading it! What a b@$t@7d!!!
Anyhoo, keep on writing and stay strong :) And I LOVE, LOVEEE your illustrations! Let me know if you'll ever be interested in illustrating for a fee! Am thinking of creating a small short-story book for my little girl. Not for sale. Sort of as a gift that I plan to give her someday when she's older.
